ABOUT DISTRICT
Hassan District, located in the southwestern part of Karnataka, India, is a region of immense historical, cultural, architectural, and geographical significance. Its history spans more than two millennia, reflecting the influence of several powerful dynasties, including the Gangas, Cholas, Hoysalas, Vijayanagara rulers, and the Wodeyars of Mysore.
