Use of modern technology and basic arrangements for the safety management of the devotees of Mother Hassanamba Devi
1. More than 25 lakh devotees from the state and outside states are expected to come for darshan for the 2025 Jatra Mahotsav, and their safety and comfortable darshan is the most important responsibility of all of us.
2. The District Administration, Hassan has given top priority to scientifically and experimentally improve the videos of previous Jatra Mahotsavs by watching them with a special team including technicians.
3. To improve the traffic and vehicle congestion, a traffic route map and additional parking spaces have been pre-assigned. To avoid unnecessary traffic, a separate website has been created and a GPS Google route map has been added with all the rules and regulations for parking lots and additional places where devotees come to enter the darshan gates and simply want to move around.
4. As part of the installation of cameras supported by the latest artificial intelligence technology, a modern monitoring system has been installed so that devotees are under the surveillance of such cameras everywhere and any inch of deviation can be viewed in the control room and the relevant authorities can immediately take action.
5. To prevent any kind of stampede, footfall and all sensitive areas where people are getting crowded, the SDRF team, police and tasked officers have formed a system to take preventive measures, and the number of walkie-talkies has been increased for quick communication and information transmission.
6. The need for additional barricading to prevent crowding and the need for additional German tents to provide rest for people has been studied in advance and all emergency and supplementary essential services have been expanded.
7. Prioritizing the need for toilets, more than 200 toilets and arrangements for their water have been prepared, as well as, buttermilk, water and drinks have been increased for drinking.
8. Vigilance has been taken at all places of the fair to prevent electrical accidents and fire accidents and the fire fighting system has been increased for readiness. Similarly, the number of ambulances and medical service units for medical emergency services, the availability of medicines and the number of doctors and medical staff and the improvement system have been upgraded.
9. Ticket usage and entry have been digitized to definitely control the entry of devotees through any darshan gates in ticket usage.
10. The devotees have decided on the appropriate darshan queue and have taken steps to open ticket counters and additional counter numbers to make it stand out as an improvement so that devotees do not come near unnecessary queues.
11. Simple, special and free darshan is encouraged for devotees above eighty years of age and those with special needs. More information has been provided separately on the website.
12. This effort is being made more and more to create awareness on WhatsApp chatbot, mobile app, website, radio, media, social media.
