Traffic rules for devotees arriving in Hassan city during the Jatra Mahotsav

• More than 25 lakh devotees from the state and outside states are expected to come for darshan during the 2025 Jatra Mahotsav, and their safety and comfortable darshan is the most important responsibility of all of us.
• For the safety of all devotees arriving at the Jatra Mahotsav, all traffic rules should be followed with the guidance of the on-duty officers/staff.
• Vehicles should be parked only in the pre-designated parking lots in various parts of Hassan city along the respective roads and highways. Only local private vehicles such as autos/taxis will be allowed to reach the darshan area from the parking lots.
• The movement of vehicles by devotees has been restricted within the temple limits and parking of vehicles in any other place except the marked parking lots in various parts of the city has been restricted.
• For devotees arriving by public buses and trains, city transport arrangements have been made from the bus and railway station to the darshan area.
• As soon as the city transport buses, private taxis and autos drop the devotees at the designated places for darshan, they are advised to return on the designated route without violating the parking rules.
• Devotees are requested to follow all traffic rules even after darshan and return safely.
• To reach Hassan city, various tourist destinations in the district and the flower show exhibition, exhibition, dog show, art gallery, folk fair venues organized within the city on the occasion of the fair.
