Dress Code Rules for the Worship of Goddess Hassanambe
- The history of Goddess Hassanambe has been famous since the 12th century and there is a traditional history of the darshan of the goddess and it is a happy development that the faith of the people is increasing year by year.
- Hassan district has a historical and traditional heritage and has emphasized that the devotees who have darshan during the Jatra Mahotsava should follow the traditional dress code in their attire.
- It is mandatory for the devotees who enter the temple premises to have darshan of the god to wear appropriate clothes according to Indian tradition. Western semi-formal dresses will not be allowed to have darshan.
- Uniform Code Officers/staff on duty during the Jatra Mahotsava are required to enter the sanctum sanctorum of the temple with their duty uniform as per religious rules.
