Zilla Panchayat

POLITICAL STRUCTURE : - The Political Structure comprises of President, Vice president and members. The total strength of new Zilla Panchayat is 40. The election to the Zilla Panchayat was held on 19/12/2005 and the has elected 40 new members. The term of Zilla Panchayat is 5 years.

ROLES: The role of these members is to create and improvement of the infrastructural felicities such as roads, bridges, drinking water facilities, dispensaries, vet. hospitals, schools etc. They conduct meetings regularly to highlight the problems, needs, action to be taken etc., and pass the resolutions of public interest which in turn planned and executed by the CEO of Zilla Panchayat.
